Bill Atkinson’s iPhone & iTouch Application PhotoCard

Today I’m introducing  you to iPhone and iTouch application PhotoCard, written by one of my favorite world renowned fine art nature Photographer Bill Atkinson.

PhotoCard allows you to create both electronic (email) as well as real physical post cards, using your own photographs as well as those provided by Bill and other talented photographers.

 About Bill Atkinson:

Bill Atkinson is a computer engineer  and was member of the original Macintosh team at Apple Computer.  He was the creator of many ground breaking Apple applications:

• Macintosh QuickDrawand Lisa LisaGraf
• Marching ants
• Menu bar
• The Selection lasso
• FatBits
• MacPaint
• HyperCard

 As of  2010, Bill Atkinson is a full time fine are nature photographer.  His life long photographic journey has started at the age of ten, when he was given a subscription to “Arizona Highways” magazine.  He is an early adopter of digital photography and pioneer in digital printing and color management technology.
